The following are some of our key water projects delivered by Wisinar Sdn Bhd, which have successfully reduced system losses, improved measurement accuracy, and enhanced overall network performance.
01. Sarawak Miri NRW Audit & Verification Contract (2024-2025)
Delivered a comprehensive NRW audit and verification programme for Sarawak Water Sdn Bhd (Miri). The scope included validating current NRW levels, conducting meter accuracy testing, and recommending improved work processes to support a practical NRW reduction framework and ongoing performance tracking.
02. Sarawak Limbang Leakage Detection, 355 mm, 12 km Transmission Main (2024)
Performed leakage detection on 12 km of 355 mm HDPE transmission mains in Limbang, Sarawak, following suspected high system losses. Preliminary water balance and audits were carried out, and multiple leakage areas were identified using specialised detection instruments.
03. Ranhill SAJ DMA‑Level Hydraulic Modelling for Pipe Rehab (2021)
Developed and applied DMA‑level hydraulic network models for Ranhill SAJ to support pipe rehabilitation and replacement planning. The modelling work guided prioritisation of investments and helped optimise network performance and NRW outcomes.
04. Flow Measurement for Air Selangor Main & Communication Pipe Replacement (2019–Present)
Performed flow measurement, Pressure Sampling and BABE analysis to quantify water savings for Air Selangor’s main pipe replacement program. The work included site surveys, night consumption analysis, pressure assessment, zero‑pressure testing, flow and step testing before and after replacement to determine NRW reduction and project effectiveness.
05. Troubleshooting & Verification of Electromagnetic Flow Meters, Lembaga Air Kuching
Conducted troubleshooting, repair and verification of faulty electromagnetic flow meters for Lembaga Air Kuching, Sarawak. Using specialised verification units, meter performance and flow accuracy were confirmed to be within specified limits.
06. Verification of Electromagnetic Flow Meters, SAMB Melaka
Performed verification of electromagnetic flow meters for Syarikat Air Melaka Berhad (SAMB). The verification ensured that meters were operating within accuracy tolerances, supporting trustworthy billing and system performance analysis.
07. Accuracy Verification of Flow Meters, Miri, Sarawak
Provided verification of Electromagnetic flow meters at LAKU Management Sdn Bhd, Miri. The work focused on verification of the electronics and electrical performance of the flow meter, diagnosing measurement issues for the flowmeter to record reliable flow data.
08. Easynrw Web‑Based Monitoring System Supply to Global Clients
Supplied and implemented Easynrw web‑based NRW monitoring systems for multiple utilities and partners worldwide, including Singapore PUB, Waterland Detection (Hong Kong), Lembaga Air Kuching, Millenia Aqua Services, Mimtech Technology, LAKU Management and clients in Mauritius, supporting their ongoing NRW management.
09. Leakage Detection for 200–300 mm Mains, 12 km, REC Plant, Singapore
Investigated leakage on 12 km of 200–300 mm mains at the REC plant, where high consumption and poor system pressure were affecting fire‑fighting capability. Multiple leakage areas were identified, instrumentation supplied, and on‑site staff trained to perform future leak detection independently.
10. Leakage Detection for 400 mm Mains, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
Undertook leakage detection on 3.2 km of newly laid 400 mm mains after the pressure test failed. The leak location was successfully identified, enabling rectification works and compliance with pressure testing requirements.
11. Leakage Detection for 450 mm Mains, Jurong Port, Singapore
Executed leakage detection on 8 km of 450 mm mains at Jurong Port in response to unusually high water bills. The investigation successfully located the leakage area, allowing the client to decide on full pipe replacement due to the age and condition of the existing mains.
12. Water Loss Study for 350 mm, 38 km Mains, Beaufort, Sabah
Conducted a detailed water loss study on 38 km of 350 mm mains as part of the Beaufort EWSS Project (Phase 2). The scope included DMZ establishment, assessment and relocation of illegal connections, and quantification of commercial and physical losses to support NRW reduction planning.
13. Leakage Detection of 400 mm Transmission Main, Beaufort, Sabah
Performed leakage detection along 28 km of newly upgraded 400 mm transmission main under the Beaufort EWSS Project. The work identified major leaks that were limiting supply to the balancing tank and nearby rural areas, enabling targeted repairs and improved water delivery.
